SGU’s campus bookstore launched its grand re-opening on September 8th during St. George’s University’s ‘Beyond Spice’ Family Weekend celebrations. Families and members of the university community were specially treated to the new look and feel and, more importantly, new stock at the re-opening on Saturday September 8. The book store, located at Carriacou Hall on the True Blue campus, underwent renovations to expand its capacity and to improve its retail layout. This face-lift, together with new stock, offers more variety to the SGU community; from textbooks, school supplies, SGU apparel and souvenirs.
Participants of Family Weekend were offered a 15% off coupon for the purchase of SGU apparel and souvenirs. The Bookstore, which remained open throughout the entire weekend of activities, from Friday, September 7th – Sunday, September 9th, ran smaller satellite operations at the Caribbean House, Taylor Hall and the University Club.
